Welcome!

I used to be a dedicated blogger. I started blogging on a personal blog in 2005 shortly after my fourth child was born. Now that we've added four more children to the mix, I have found it harder to find the time to sit down and write my thoughts. Not only has it become more difficult to find the time, but my brain has become mushier over the years too. Often it's difficult to form coherent thoughts past 8PM, yet alone actually write them down for people who might actually read them.

This is my attempt to record my life as a homeschooling mom. I remember my beginning days as a homeschooling mom and wondering what in the world I was doing and how I was going to do it. I always appreciated finding good ideas and learning what worked for those who have traveled this road ahead of me. Now that I've been homeschooling for seven years I feel myself becoming like my mentors who have traveled the road ahead and carved a path. I'm not an official veteran yet. We haven't survived the high school years yet, but I have had my share of successes and failures up until this point, so I decided to create a spot to share them.

So, this is my homeschool blog. My goal is to inspire, help, and make readers feel better about their fears, insecurities, and failures. I have my share of them, and guarantee you that I will share them with you.
